“Having a Servant Heart” 

Faith Planters is rooted in having an actionable servant’s heart that responsibly supports the community. 

With our partners’ support, we are able to aid individuals in meeting their immediate needs while planning and working towards future goals. Faith Planters has cultivated programs for children, adults, and churches through peer mentorship events, career services, college and trade preparation, and leadership training. 

Over the next five years, we will expand by meeting individuals’ diverse needs. This will include addressing food and clothing insecurity, providing foster care resources, facilitating career training, and supporting churches and organizations as they aid their communities. Faith Planters is developing a community garden, which will be a place where people can come and be in community with each other while tending to healthy foods that will be given to the community. We will partner with foster families and the foster system by providing engaging experiences that support children in their development and expose them to the world. Faith Planters will work with children and adults as they plan for a career and navigate their professions. We will be able to lead interview preparation programs, support business plan development, provide financial literacy, and more. 

Faith Planters’ servant’s heart is the “Nehemiah Way” — No problem too big, no issue so small is able to deter our drive and determination to meet the needs and dreams of our youth, adults, and seniors expeditiously.
